This is the fifth time I listened to Vernon’s comments and expressions. He has a very warm, kind, and loving heart. His fiance must have been a very fortunate woman to have met someone like him. I know she would want the best for him. His three wishes are special–Sin and evil done away, no more death and everyone getting along. These concerns are addressed in God’s word –the Bible. In the book of Psalms–it speaks about how the righteous will possessed the earth, Revelation 21:3-4 also talks about how mourning/outcry and pain will be no more and how the the tent of God will reside among righteous mankind in harmony and peace. I work with an organization that deals with homeless people. In a matter of fact, earlier part of this year, I was mistaken for a homeless person and the mistreatment and the insults that was dished out to me by a university police officer was hurtful. He didn’t that I served on several boards in the City of Richmond VA. One of them is a law firm. By the time I wrote a letter to his superiors about his conduct–he was transferred to another area/department. Hopefully he learn that you can’t judged a book by its cover. That situation instill in myself to do extra to reduced homelessness.
