Heather
Heather is a single mom with two daughters doing the very best she can to survive homelessness. We met this past fall in San Jose, California.
For five years they have been in and out of shelters and hotels. Heather says it is really hard to get housing without a job, and although she continues to look for work, no one wants to hire her.
